In most colleges of Aiou, late fee is charged from the students who fail to pay the fee on time. This fee is deposited as additional amount of money on the last date of admission. It is to know that the amount of late fee is decided by the college’s board of management. It totally depends on the decision of the board of students. So, students should be careful regarding it. However, students sometimes may miss a date to deposit the fee on right time. They might take late time due to some reasons.
Aiou Late Fee is the fee that is charged by the Aiou for the late submission of the assignments of the students which is submitted in the University is to be submitted in the due date which is being mentioned by the University. The Late fee has been increased by the university for the 10th and 11th class students. The Late Fee for the current academic session of Aiou has been increased to Rs 500. Previously, the Late Fee was Rs. 400. The new late fee of the school education has been increased to Rs. 500.
The year long BBA program is extremely popular and the college still opt to increase the fee of the program every year. The Late Fee of Aiou is concerning year as the college is charging hefty amount as late fee of the admission’s forms. On the other hand, the college management is charging the same fee over and over again. Next, the college is still not taking the responsibility for the delay in delivery of the admission’s forms. And finally, the college is charging the fee for the admission’s forms which are already late.
On the 23 rd of November the Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) issued a notification announcing that the University would introduce a late fee of Rs.100 for all students who are not able to submit their assignments on time.
This new policy was immediately put into effect and we decided to look at the reasons behind this decision. We will also look at the impact this decision will have on the students of the University and why we believe this new rule is not going to help the University achieve its aim.
